I visited the Netherlands for the first time in July 2007. My week-long trip included visits to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Delft, and The Hague.

Sean Leather > The next day, I went to Utrecht University. This is the entry to their library. Everything about this place was black. I'm not sure I like it.

Sean Leather > I saw this in passing on the tram, and I just had to get off to get a shot. This statue is called "Thinker on Rock" by Barry Flanagan. It is the exact same as the one that came to my alma mater in 2001 while I was still there. I had no idea there was a double in Utrecht. It apparently arrived sometime in 2002 (English translation).
